Kostas Thoctarides (founder and owner of Planet Blue Dive Center) is a commercial diver since 1987.
1998 to 2003: Collaboration with the Hellenic National Center for Marine Research.
Chief pilot and technical operational manager of the manned submersible THETIS (type REMORA 2000), constructed by COMEX France and the ROV ‘SUPER ACHILLE’.
Diving and hyperbaric chamber (HBO) supervisor.
Kostas is also a maritime expert at the Ministry of Justice for the investigation of naval, diving and hyperbaric chamber accidents.
The Greek State has several times for his contribution to various research and salvage operations.
His underwater hours are approx. the equivalent of 2 full years.
